Drawing the human figure is an enjoyable and powerful exploration that serves as a universal link to the culture of artists and art. This class focuses on visual skills and analysis, investigating gestures, proportions, and anatomy while expanding a drawing vocabulary. Figure drawing serves as a great starting point for those curious about drawing as well as an essential tool for advanced artists to keep sharpened. Nude models used. Required materials list provided.

Meet your instructor, Yulia!
She/Her


YULIA LEVKOVICH is an award-winning representational painter. She trained at the Academy of Realist Art, received her BFA from OCAD University, Toronto, and her MFA from the New York Academy of Art, Manhattan. Yulia has taught at several institutions including Pratt Munson and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
