Thirty years after mysteriously disappearing at sea, the fishing trawler Rose of Nevada inexplicably returns to a struggling Cornish village. Hoping for a fresh start, Nick (George MacKay) and Liam (Callum Turner) join its new crew, only to discover they have somehow traveled back in time to the day the original vessel vanished. As past and present collide, the men are forced to confront lives that might have been and the lingering wounds of a community haunted by loss. Premiering in the Orizzonti section of the 2025 Venice Film Festival, the film earned widespread acclaim for its haunting atmosphere. The Guardian praised it as “a haunting ghost story... eerie, poetic and unlike anything else in modern British cinema.”
