Free summer class!
Teen Portfolio Development
(Drawing/Painting/3D) - Week 1
Ages 15–18 | Rising Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors
A strong portfolio is essential for art students applying to colleges. In this comprehensive studio class, students will explore drawing, painting, and 3D design to build a well-rounded body of work. Projects will develop skills in observing and translating the 3D world into both 2D and sculptural forms, ranging from still lifes and figure drawing to mixed media and three-dimensional pieces.
Students will experiment with a variety of materials and techniques while strengthening their creative voice and technical abilities. Preparation for a college portfolio review is emphasized through group critiques and instruction from admissions counselors at Pratt Munson College of Art and Design.
