WORKSHOP | Bezel-set Pendant
with Shannon Stockbridge | All Levels | 18+
Craft a bezel setting for a cabochon - a smooth, convex, oval stone - to create a super cool pendant necklace! Learn how to select a cabochon, size and shape a bezel, and then solder the bezel to a flat piece of sheet metal. Techniques learned also include texturing, sawing and piercing. Stone and copper or brass included. Silver may be purchased at the Studio Building Reception desk. Chain is not included.

SHANNON STOCKBRIDGE received her BFA in sculpture through PrattMWP and graduated from Pratt Institute. Jewelry is her primary medium and she has been creating a wearable collection using the lost-wax casting and alternative materials.
