Munson Steamrollin’ Prints 2023 is the eighth annual steamroller printing event organized by the School of Art. This fun and exciting event takes place on Thursday, July 27 during the Munson Arts Festival.

Steamrollin’ Prints begins at 10 a.m. in the Museum of Art parking lot and will run until all of the prints have been made. The 25 participating artists make large relief prints under the drum of a 9-ton construction roller from the Oneida County Department of Public Works. Activities include music by DJ Thomas D, a Lil' Printmaking activity for all ages, and a visit from Big Papi's Couquitos Iceys.

The prints are made on 4-foot by 6-foot fabric and displayed for festival-goers to enjoy. They will also be displayed and available for purchase in an exhibition at The Westwood — more details to come!

Event sponsors include Oneida County Department of Public Works, S.C.I. Plywood Co., ENJOINERY Inc. Custom Design and Fabrication, BLICK Art Materials
