Based on Madhuri Shekar’s play, this romantic comedy follows Naveen (Karan Soni), an Indian-American doctor, who introduces his fiancé Jay (Jonathan Groff), a white man adopted by Indian parents, to his traditional family. The film humorously and poignantly explores cultural expectations and queer identity. Supporting cast includes Sunita Mani, Zarna Garg, and Harish Patel. Premiering at SXSW 2024, it garnered acclaim across festivals, winning the Sherzum Award at the Hamptons International Film Festival.
