Art Conversation:
The Met Meets Munson
With Stephen Harrison, Museum of Art Director and Chief Curator
Museum of Art | Sinnott Family—Bank of Utica Auditorium
Wednesday, March 25, noon
Free
In this talk, Munson’s Museum of Art Director and Chief Curator Stephen Harrison will explore ways in which works of art from The Met work in conversation visually and thematically with works of art in Munson’s collection. This same approach was used by Hamilton College students to create Constellations, on view through April 12. The subject of this program complements the current Munson Book Club selection, All the Beauty in the World, written by Patrick Bringley, who worked as a guard at The Met for a decade. All are welcome to attend.
